Takvim claim Manchester United’s winger Adnan Januzaj has emerged as a surprise summer target for Fenerbahçe. The Turkish newspaper report the 22-year old has been offered to Fenerbahce via multiple football agents, and their board have entertained the prospect of signing the Belgian winger.

Fenerbahçe are looking for cheaper transfer options this summer because of their ongoing issues with FFP, and the Manchester United attacker is a possibility. The Turkish giants are considering signing Januzaj permanently, so a loan move is not under consideration.

The Fenerbahçe board are hoping Januzaj’s contract situation at Manchester United will make the things easier for them as the Belgian will be a free agent at the end of next season. Jose Mourinho has reportedly given up on Januzaj as Manchester United are covered in his position.

Januzaj has played 22 Premier League games for Sunderland on loan this season, and has failed to make a big impact.

The Belgium international also had a loan spell at Borussia Dortmund last season after being frozen out at Manchester United.
