Liverpool’s Xherdan Shaqiri has been restricted to only seven league starts since the start of last campaign, out of which five of them came from this season.

Despite the limited playing time, the winger is not short of admirers from across Europe. That’s what Turkish journalist Ekrem Konur reported earlier today on Twitter.

According to Konur, Sevilla, AS Roma and Lazio are ‘interested’ in signing the 29-year-old in the summer.

Apart from the Spanish club and the two Serie A sides, the former Stoke City man has been occasionally on the agenda of Fenerbahçe.

The Swiss international’s current deal at Anfield runs down in 2023 and the Reds are willing to allow him to change clubs in the summer, provided one condition is met.

Konur claims Jürgen Klopp’s side have plans only to sell the player and will not allow Shaqiri leave on a loan deal.

With the two Rome clubs and Sevilla ‘interested’ in the attacker, it remains to be seen if either of them can convince Liverpool to sanction his sale.

Konur works for Italian outlet Calcio In Pillole and is also a commentator for Turkey’s Önce Vatan Gazetesi.
