It appears that AC Milan, in their bid to change their squad a bit after finishing fourth in Serie A, have taken a shine to a Watford player, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

That man, as you might have guessed, is Ismaïla Sarr, who has been linked with a move away from Vicarage Road for many years.

Unfortunately for the Watford star, the player has never been given a real chance to do so, with some deals falling through in the past.

However, there might be hope this year could be different, as his contract expires in the summer of next year, making this the last chance for the Hornets to truly cash in on him.

The newspaper state that his value currently exceeds €20m, but there is a chance for that ‘to be discounted’ thanks to his contractual situation.

Other than that, the profiles matches what they are looking for, meaning he has the right technical qualities, the right age, and his price is ‘in line with company strategies’.

This suggests the Watford star is one of the forwards they are going after this year, although they do name him as an alternative to the likes of Marcus Thuram, who is currently available on a free.
