Leeds United striker Rodrigo Moreno has been offered to Real Madrid, as he negotiates with other teams in La Liga and the Premier League.

That’s according to Marca, who say the striker could be an option to replace Mariano Diaz following his departure from the Bernabeu this summer.

We covered a report from Cadena COPE yesterday that stated Madrid were looking into a possible deal for Rodrigo as they look to bolster a forward line hit by departures this summer.

That explained that the striker was available for as little as €3.5m following Leeds’ relegation to the Championship this season.

Marca now follow that up and explain that Real Madrid’s directors are ‘constantly receiving offers’ from centre-forwards to replace Mariano.

Joselu continues to be the one who is closest to being signed but Rodrigo is one of the names that has been presented to the Spanish giants.

According to the newspaper’s information, Leeds’ relegation ‘opens the door’ for an exit from Elland Road and the striker ‘has an offer’ from the Premier League while he is also ‘negotiating with other LaLiga teams’ also.

That doesn’t mean he’ll end up at Real Madrid, but the offer has apparently been made and they are looking at it.
