Galatasaray are in the market for a forward with the Super Lig club preparing for the departure of Mbaye Diagne.

With Diagne expected to leave for €15m, Galatasaray are looking at possible replacements and Turkiye reports the Istanbul club are considering making an offer for Watford’s Stefano Okaka.

The Italian striker was strongly linked with a move to Turkey last summer, but he ended up staying at Vicarage Road before completing a loan move to Serie A side Udinese in January.

Watford are reportedly looking to get €3m from the sale of the 29 year old and Turkiye say Galatasaray are ready to pay that.

Gala manager Fatih Terim sees Okaka as an ideal signing and feels he fits the profile of what he’s looking for ahead of next season. His team will be fighting on all fronts and they are looking to get out of the Champions League group stages after failing to do so in the last campaign.

The former Sampdoria striker is under contract with Watford until June 2021.
