Chelsea have been endlessly linked with a move for Christian Pulisic over the past few weeks.

The US international isn’t as prominent as he may like at Borussia Dortmund this season and a move to the Premier League has been rumoured for years.

At just 20 years of age, Pulisic carries the benefits of being young, and having plenty of room to improve, but also having quite a bit of experience behind him.

On top of that is the marketability which comes with signing a footballer long seen as the future of the US national team, and the game in the country.

SportBild say Chelsea specifically want to sign him in the winter market, but Dortmund are set against that. The club are at the top of the Bundesliga and won’t want to do anything which may harm their chances of winning the thing.

So the Blues would have to wait until the summer, and then a deal can be done for around €50-60m. There may be a point at which BVB would consider an earlier sale, although SportBild don’t say so, but Chelsea may not want to pay a big premium.
