Khvicha Kvaratskhelia’s fine start to his Napoli career has seen him draw attention from the top European clubs, including Chelsea and Manchester City.

The winger has seven goals and eight assists from 14 matches in all competitions this season. The 21-year-old has seen interest grow as he continues to shine on the pitch for the Serie A side.

According to Napoli Magazine, Chelsea and Manchester City are among a few clubs that are ‘ready to swoop’ for the Napoli star.

After arriving in Italy from Dinamo Batumi in the summer window, he signed a five-year deal with the Naples club. Despite the time left on his contract, the interest shown by Chelsea and Manchester City could make it difficult for Napoli to retain him.

Napoli chairman Aurelio De Laurentiis has the desire to retain the Georgia international at least until 2024. However, the report states it will be ‘difficult to resist’ any offers he will receive for the attacker from the interested parties.

With Chelsea and Manchester City ‘ready to swoop’ for Kvaratskhelia, it needs to be seen whether either of them will make a tempting offer to Napoli to secure his services.
