With Endrick not being the only Palmeiras youngster drawing big attention from Europe, we now get to see Chelsea named in the race for another talent.

Italian outlet CalcioMercato.it today features a story about 18-year-old striker Thalys, who’s said to be followed by several clubs.

Chelsea are one of them, along with the likes of Juventus, Barcelona, Paris Saint Germain, Manchester City and Manchester United.

The teenager isn’t expected to be a cheap signing, with the outlet claiming that Palmeiras want ‘no less than €35-40m’, with a potential discount in case of a percentage of a future transfer.

The forward is dubbed by the report as the ‘new Endrick’, given his ‘great potential’, as the 17-year-old is set to join Real Madrid next summer following a €42.5m agreement.

In Thalys’ case, it remains to be seen whether Chelsea and the others will come with heavy bids for his signing in the near future.

The youngster took part in Brazil’s most important youth tournament last month, the Copa São Paulo, and had four goals in nine appearances, and he’s now waiting for a chance to make his first team debut.
