Tuesday’s edition of Gazzetta dello Sport has various articles on big Serie A clubs needing to sell players before they throw themselves fully into purchases this summer.

There’s no surprise that those clubs are looking towards the Premier League for buyers and cash, and Gazzetta strongly push Chelsea forward for Dusan Vlahovic.

Since his €80m move from Fiorentina, the Serbian hasn’t done too badly but he hasn’t hit the heights that Juventus hoped for.

Therefore, he’s available in the market.

Gazzetta say Chelsea ‘insist’ on the signing, and even state there was a ‘face-to-face meeting’ at the weekend. That meeting was with Blues officials and representatives who had travelled to London on behalf of Juventus.

The Turin club want ‘as close as possible’ to the €80m they paid Fiorentina, although it’s likely they’d have to accept a chunk less.

Meanwhile, Chelsea themselves have players to offload and presented several options to Juventus.

For now this seems like both clubs trying to do deals which involve getting rid of players, and there’s a chance Gazzetta have somewhat overstated Chelsea’s desire for the striker… especially at a time when outgoings are key.
