Fotomac claim Besiktas are preparing an offer for Arsenal forward Danny Welbeck, to sign the player in this transfer window.
Besktias are in the market for a striker to replace Cenk Tosun, after his move to Everton earlier this month, and Fotomac say Arsenal’s Welbeck is the player Senol Gunes wants to see in his team.
It’s been claimed Besiktas will offer to take the Arsenal player on loan, with a right of redemption.
Fotomac have also reported Ahmet Bulut is in England to represent Besiktas, but it’s not been confirmed who the agent is holding talks with.
However, with Theo Walcott on the verge of a move to Everton, and the uncertainty over the future of Alexis Sanchez, it’s unlikely Arsene Wenger would allow Welbeck to leave the Emirates in this transfer window.
The England international’s time at Arsenal has been plagued by injury, but he’s recently put a run of games together.
