Everton striker Cenk Tosun is undergoing a medical at Crystal Palace before signing a loan deal until the end of the season with the club.

That’s according to NTV Spor in Turkey, who say the Everton striker is on the verge of making a temporary move to Selhurst Park.

Tosun had been identified as one of several who could leave Everton in this transfer window, with Carlo Ancelotti keen to overhaul the squad he inherited from Marco Silva.

The Turkish striker has managed just six and appearances and 328 minutes of football for the Blues this season and had been linked with a return to his native Turkey.

He was keen to stay in England and prove himself, though, and appears to have gotten that wish with Crystal Palace.

We covered a report from Beyaz TV journalist Ertan Suzgun yesterday that stated an agreement was in place for Tosun to spend the second half of the campaign on loan with the Eagles.

The deal was expected to be completed today so that Tosun could feature in Crystal Palace’s clash with Arsenal this weekend, and it appears everything is being done to make that happen with his medical already underway.
