Following the recent success that Brighton & Hove Albion have been having with South American players, it’s clear they should continue betting on that type of signing in the future.

And the Seagulls indeed have some youngsters on their radar, according to recent and new rumours.

Netflu share a report saying Brighton are one of the clubs who are keeping an eye on Fluminense youngster Kauã Elias.

The Seagulls join Barcelona, Porto and Watford in the list of sides who are interested in the 17-year-old.

Kauã Elias may not have made his official debut for Fluminense yet, but there are a few ways he may have drawn Brighton’s interest.

One of them was playing for the U-17 national team, where he featured in the South American Tournament. He also showed his skills featuring for Flu on a European tour, where he played a few English clubs and scored 16 goals in 16 games.

Netflu writes that no official bids have arrived for the player so far, so we shall wait and see when the interested clubs will start moving.
