Brighton and Crystal Palace both had scouts in Portugal last night, according to reports from the local press.
Newspaper A Bola says the Premier League sides sent officials for the match between Braga and Rangers.
Following a 3-2 win in Glasgow, the Scottish side managed to get a great result once again, this time with a 1-0 victory, which guaranteed their place in the round-of-16.
A Bola doesn’t know who Brighton or Crystal Palace were watching, but since they’ve both been scouting Braga this season, there’s maybe something interesting to see at the Portuguese side.
Despite the loss, two Braga players still managed to stand out.
One of them was goalkeeper Matheus, who saved a penalty, and the other one was Esgaio, who created most of their plays on the right wing.
For Rangers, it was Ianis Hagi and Ryan Kent who ended Braga’s dream of having a better campaign in the Europa League.
