Claims from Spain and Italy have stated West Ham United and Fulham are both contenders to sign Valencia’s Yunus Musah in the summer window.

On June 20th, AS stated the Hammers have a ‘special interest’ in the midfielder and the La Liga side want to sell him this summer. Two days ago, Tutto Juve reported Marco Silva’s side are ‘very interested’ in signing him.

West Ham and Fulham have received encouragement as Calciomercato now state AC Milan have cooled their interest in the 20-year-old.

It’s stated the Serie A side offered €15m plus bonuses to take the overall deal to €17-18m but this didn’t please Los Ches, who have requested €25m to part ways with the American.

The price tag set by Valencia has seen the Rossoneri end negotiations. The deal for Milan has been made even more complicated with the interest shown by West Ham and Fulham, which would also raise the asking price.

This has convinced Milan to shift their focus to AZ Alkmaar’s Tijjani Reijnders, leaving the Europa Conference League winners and Marco Silva’s side with a clear advantage to sign Musah.
