Jenas believes if King had managed to avoid the injuries he picked up throughout his career then he may have become the best of them all because he had everything.
“There were some special centre-halves around when I played, but he’d have been the best of the lot if he could have sustained his fitness. He just had everything – including two great feet,” said the BBC Pundit on his former Tottenham teammate.
King spent 13 seasons with Tottenham, but made just over 250 appearances during that period. His injuries also restricted his number of games for England, and in a 10-year period he only represented his country on 21 occasions.
