Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Atlético Madrid have Lautaro Martínez on their agenda this summer.

Sky Italia explain the ongoing efforts from Chelsea over signing Inter Milan star Romelu Lukaku means his teammate will ‘remain’ at the San Siro, ‘despite the offers’ he has received.

The Blues are keen to bring Lukaku back to Stamford Bridge and his potential exit forces the Serie A winners to keep the Argentina international.

It’s claimed the La Liga champions made a €40m bid for Martínez a few weeks ago, but this proposal was never taken into consideration by the Nerazzurri. They value the player at least at €90m.

According to the report, there was ‘some approach’ from the Gunners, but Mikel Arteta’s side never converted it into a formal offer.

With Lukaku expected to leave the Italian champions, Sky explain Inter will ‘not deprive themselves’ of Lautaro Martínez with whom ‘renewal talks will be resumed at the end of the market’.

Even if Arsenal were to make a formal bid and Inter are ready to sell the South American, a deal would have been difficult to conclude because the Emirates move doesn’t appeal to Martínez.
