Following the injury to Gabriel Jesus, the idea that Arsenal could sign a new striker in January has started to grow.

The Gunners have had a terrific first half of the season in the Premier League, entering the World Cup break with a five point lead over Manchester City, in huge part thanks to the threat provided by the Brazilian.

With that gone for the foreseeable future, Arsenal are left with the option of either relying on someone else within their team, like Gabriel Martinelli, or signing someone.

One name that has reappeared of late is that of Dušan Vlahovic, who has struggled this season for Juventus, and whose agent has ‘almost inevitably started looking around again’ for new landing spot.

This comes courtesy of Corriere Torino, who state ‘there is no shortage of top clubs interested in the Serbian centre-forward’.

Among those is a list of Premier League sides, where ‘Arsenal won’t let go’, seemingly leading the pack ahead of other interested parties.

It’s worth recalling that Arsenal did try and sign Vlahovic last January, but the striker opted to stay in Italy and move to Juventus instead.
