Juventus star Adrien Rabiot is of ‘great interest’ to Arsenal, according to Calciomercato.it.

Back in June, the midfielder signed a short-term deal until 2024 and the Serie A side have started negotiations to tie him down to another contract.

The Turin club will have to hurry up because Arsenal are ‘seriously interested’ in securing the 28-year-old’s services.

The former Paris Saint-Germain man’s performances and contract situation has seen him become an ‘object of desire’ for several clubs and the list includes the Gunners.

It’s said Mikel Arteta’s side could ‘exploit’ the uncertainty around his long-term future with the Old Lady. The report adds Arsenal could make a move to sign the France international in January and this has caused concern at Juve.

The time left on his deal won’t have an impact on his role on the pitch as Rabiot continues to be a vital player under Massimiliano Allegri.

With Arsenal among the clubs in the mix, it’s now down to Juve sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli to secure the Frenchman’s future beyond this season.

The outlet states Giuntoli is ready to offer a ‘substantial contract’ but whether that’ll be enough to convince Rabiot remains to be seen.
