For the past few months, claims have stated Arsenal are one of the clubs in the picture to sign Galatasaray’s Sacha Boey in the summer.

Back in March, we relayed news from Turkey that the Gunners have identified the right-back as a ‘priority’ target because Mikel Arteta is ‘keen’ to have him at his disposal next season.

Fast forward to May and Akşam now explain six Galatasaray players could leave in the summer. The 22-year-old is included in the list and Arsenal wanting him is also highlighted.

It’s claimed the Premier League side are ‘seriously interested’ in securing the defender’s services in the next window. They are not alone as Sporting, Udinese and Lyon are also chasing the Frenchman.

Boey and Victor Nelsson are the Galatasaray duo who are ‘most likely to be sold’ after this season.

Arsenal and Boey’s other suitors have taken further steps as the report says they have already contacted the Turkish club for the fullback. Akşam don’t mention the fee needed to take Boey away from Galatasaray.

Even though Sporting, Udinese and Lyon are in the mix, Arsenal could have an advantage as the player has already admitted he “dreams” of moving to the Premier League.
