Lukas Klostermann is at the centre of a transfer triangle, report Bild on Tuesday evening.
The RB Leipzig defender is interesting Atletico Madrid, who looked at him ‘very closely’ during the European U21 championship. Looking for a right back, Atletico have been impressed with the 23 year old, partly because he finds the back of the net every now and again.
He’s not the only man Atletico are looking at, with Bild saying they’re also interested in Arsenal’s Hector Bellerin, who is currently out with injury.
Also scouting at the U21s, Bild say Arsenal have specifically watched matches to see the RB Leipzig player, so perhaps their interest isn’t entirely dependent on what happens with the Spaniard.
A Bellerin exit this summer feels very unlikely, partly because he’s clearly very at home with the Gunners, and partly because of his fitness situation.
