Arsenal ‘want to add’ Galatasaray star Kerem Aktürkoğlu to their squad next season, according to claims from Turkey.

The 23-year-old has been used across all three attacking positions this season but has been mainly deployed on the left wing, and has scored 11 goals and registered 10 assists in all competitions.

Star Gazetesi explain the Turkey international has attracted the attention of clubs across the continent with his performances for the Süper Lig side and country.

Arsenal have ‘finally stepped in’ and have joined Tottenham Hotspur, Lyon, Atlético Madrid and VfL Wolfsburg in the player chase.

It’s further claimed that Mikel Arteta’s side, who have ‘opened the purse strings’, will ‘start negotiations’ with the Istanbul club for the attacker at the end of this season.

Last December, Aktürkoğlu signed a new contract with Galatasaray and his current deal will run down in 2026. Star Gazetesi suggest the Turkish club would need a fee of around €20m for their prized asset.

If Arsenal are keen to sign Aktürkoğlu in the summer, more reports, especially from the English press, are likely to crop up in the coming days and weeks.
