Following on from the January transfer market, Arsenal still haven’t given up on Arthur, currently at Juventus.

At least, that’s what Corriere dello Sport would have you believe, as the Brazilian looks to be one of the sacrifices made by Max Allegri’s side this summer.

The newspaper explain that there is a need to sign a midfielder and a defensive winger in Turin, and ‘it will be necessary to sell to complete the construction work’.

That’s where Arsenal would come in, as it’s made clear Arthur ‘is on sale’ this summer, even if he did manage to find a space for himself here and there under Allegri in the recently finished campaign.

The Gunners were keen on striking a deal in January, but they never made the right offer for Juventus, with everything pushed back to now.

It’s said ‘there is always Arsenal in his desires’, hinting that Arthur would be more than open to a move to London if it presented itself.

Something to keep an eye on, because while the Gunners might look at other targets first, they will surely know they can fall back on the Juventus man if needed.
