As AS Roma continue with their pursuit for a new centre-forward, they seem to have added a Fulham player to the list.

This information is brought by Siamo La Roma, who claim the Giallorossi are now following Carlos Vinícius.

It’s said Roma have been aiming at other targets such as Romelu Lukaku, Moise Kean and Luka Jovic, but the Brazilian, who is well known by Tiago Pinto and José Mourinho, now ‘recovered ground’.

The outlet points out Carlos Vinícius is currently ‘on the sidelines’ at Fulham, but has shown interesting skills in the past which attract the interest of Roma’s director and coach.

Pinto worked with Vinícius during their time at Benfica, while Mourinho managed the striker at Tottenham Hotspur.

For now, the interest sounds more like an early idea, and there’s no information on whether Roma are preparing a bid for the centre-forward.

Carlos Vinícius is valued by Transfermarkt at €6m, and has a contract with Fulham until 2025, with the possibility of an extra year. He’s still to get a single minute for the club this season.
