Bayern Munich are ‘very likely’ to find an agreement with Liverpool for Sadio Mane, with negotiations ‘positive and ongoing’.

That’s according to journalist Florian Plettenburg, who provides an update on one of the biggest transfer stories this summer.

Mane has been heavily linked with a move to Bayern after it became clear he wanted to leave Liverpool this summer and try something different.

The German champions are seemingly keen, and negotiations are underway with Liverpool over a deal, although at this point, the two sides are far apart on their valuations of the player.

Plettenburg now reports that Bayern have spoken to the Liverpool star, and he even held a ‘positive call’ with manager Julian Nagelsmann.

Mane has reportedly made it clear he wants to join Bayern, and the German giants wee impressed the forward ‘doesn’t have airs and graces’.

He has made it clear he will do his best in whatever position the club wants to employ him, and that’s impressed those in charge at Bayern, who believe he can become a ‘massive leading figure’ in the team.

Indeed, there is a feeling the Liverpool man can help other players in the team to step up another level, and so they are keen to get a deal over the line.
