Aksam claim Galatasaray manager Fatih Terim has instructed the club’s board to sign Manchester City’s Jason Denayer on a permanent deal this summer.
The Manchester City defender is currently on loan with the Turkish giants, and has had an up and down time.
Denayer has had to fight this season to win his place back in the Galatasaray starting eleven and Aksam say Terim has been impressed with the Manchester City loanee.
It’s reported if the 22 year old can maintain his fitness and form until the end of the season then they’ll look to hold talks with Manchester City this summer
Galatasaray are looking to offer the Premier League champions €3m to sign Denayer. However, a deal could depend on Galatasaray’s next board and if the club vote in a new president.
The Belgian defender is expected, by the Turkish media, to be part of Roberto Martinez’s World Cup squad this summer so it’s likely his future will be decided after the competition.
In December, Denayer’s loan was going so poorly there were claims in the Turkish media he could be sent back to Manchester City early. One extreme to the other.
