It seems that Juventus are now one of the clubs who are paying attention to Aaron Ramsey’s situation at Arsenal FC.
With the midfielder’s contract with the Gunners expiring in 2018, several clubs are starting to wonder about the possibility to sign him in the next transfer market.
As reported by Calcio Mercato this Monday, the Old Lady have been offered the player through intermediaries, and now consider to have him as a target for the summer.
It’s no secret that Juve are looking for midfielders in the next market, with Liverpool’s Emre Can being their top target. And ironically, that’s exactly the reason why the chase for Ramsey still isn’t very serious. Juventus are looking for a player who has different roles in midfield, leaving the Welsh international as a plan B.
Informal talks and offers for Ramsey are said to be ongoing, in a stage where other European giants are showing their cards as well. That includes the likes of Chelsea, Man City and Man United.
There’s still a chance that Ramsey could stay at Arsenal, Calcio Mercato says, but that would depend on the club accepting his counter offer for a renewal, and also on the plans concerning Arsene Wenger’s future.
