Chelsea scouts were expected to be at San Siro to watch a couple of players at the Milan derby last night, as reported by FC Inter News today.
However, with Davide Astori’s tragic death, all the games of the Italian league have been postponed, and the Blues emissaries will have to wait for another opportunity.
According to FC Inter News, Antonio Conte has been looking for new defenders, and there were two targets to be seen last night, one from each club: Milan’s Alessio Romagnoli and Inter’s Milan Skriniar.
As written by the outlet, the Blues’ interest in these two players is not a secret, since the club reportedly tried to sign both in the past.
Now in case Antonio Conte remains at the club for the next season, then there would be a chance for these two to become top targets for the summer market.
Another player who could be in Chelsea’s agenda would be Antonio Candreva, but that would also depend on Conte’s stay.
