Fenerbahce attacking midfielder Dusan Tadic has told the Turkish media it would be special to coach one of the clubs he’s played for.
Tadic spent four seasons at Southampton before moving to Dutch giants Ajax in 2018.
Asist Analiz have reported on comments Tadic has made to Tivibu Sports when asked about one day coaching his current club Fenerbahce.
The 35-year-old revealed he would like to go into coaching when he retires from playing and would consider managing one of the teams he’s played for during his career, making sure to include Southampton in his answer.
“I can play at the highest level for a few more years, but I want to be a coach in the future. I played for Ajax, I play for Fenerbahce, and I also played for Southampton. It is a very special feeling to represent a club you play for as a coach. We’ll see what happens in the future,” said the Serbian.
The Serbia international made over 150 appearances for Southampton after joining the English side from Twente in 2014. His performances for the Saints earned him a move to Ajax, where he spent five seasons.
Tadic is currently working under Jose Mourinho at Fenerbahce and has been with the Super Lig side since 2023.
