Atalanta take on Real Madrid in the Super Cup final tomorrow.

Whilst Teun Koopmeiners hasn’t trained with the club and is seeking an exit, so won’t be playing, there is another player who is also on the cusp of an exit.

That player in question is El-Bilal Toure, who didn’t make a mark last season due to injury issues. He is not a part of the squad for the game against Real Madrid, making it look like he’s on his way.

There is now interest from Bournemouth and TMW have reported today that the Cherries have ‘taken concrete steps’ towards the potential signing in the last few hours. German side VfB Stuttgart have also been interested, but it appears Bournemouth’s interest is more recent.

The chances of the Cherries landing the player seem promising, with Atalanta willing to let the striker exit on an initial loan, albeit it paid for, with an option to buy him permanently.

There is no mention of the sort of bid Bournemouth will make but Dominic Solanke’s exit has likely handed them enough funds to meet that price tag.

Atalanta want to make sure that the option to buy or obligation to buy is at least around €20m and it remains to be seen what sort of offer Bournemouth would make.
