Fulham’s Andreas Pereira has ended up on the radar of several European clubs, according to TNT Sports in Brazil.
The midfielder has been having a ‘great time’ with the Premier League side since joining them from Manchester United in 2022.
He’s been a regular at Fulham and his fine displays have clearly not gone unnoticed.
Atlético Madrid already looked at Pereira last summer, but the deal didn’t take shape, and the La Liga side will ‘try once again’ to sign him after this season.
As well as Diego Simeone’s side, clubs in Italy and England are also said to be following the Fulham star.
In addition to this, two teams from the Premier League’s ‘big six’ are observing Pereira and are interested in acquiring his signature. The report doesn’t provide the details of the Italian and English clubs.
Pereira, whose deal lasts until 2026, has managed a goal and nine assists from 38 games this season. The report explains the 28-year-old ‘could be in contention’ to leave Marco Silva’s side in the next window.
The Brazilian media have had claims on the midfielder’s career since he was breaking through at Manchester United, and many of those claims have felt like they’ve come from sources close to Pereira.
There’s been a long standing eagerness from his camp to hype his achievements and standing, and transfer claims were inevitable after his Brazil call-up.
That doesn’t necessarily mean he’s looking for an exit, just that he wants everyone to be well aware he’s doing great.
