From Spain: Tottenham ‘building something big’ on and off pitch, ‘last wonder of London’

 

From Brazil to Barcelona, the world football media can’t help but send gushing praise the way of Tottenham Hotspur. Chelsea’s loss to Manchester United at the weekend means Spurs are in with a Premier League title chance, but it’s the club’s general success which is catching the eye.

Catalan newspaper Sport headline a Tuesday article ‘Pochettino builds something big’, and say that on and off the pitch the club are going through an impressive reconstruction. Sport believe that’s made all the more impressive because of the Premier League’s tough competition.

Tottenham are more than holding their own, and whilst some of the world media are still to learn fully of the stadium development plans, when they do find out it’s always covered positively, such is the good feeling towards Spurs.

Last month Sport said Tottenham’s new ground is ‘the last wonder of London’, and they’ve continued that praise this week.

Everyone seems to want a piece of the Tottenham optimism, and then can only help Mauricio Pochettino when it comes to signing players this summer.
