Lure of Guardiola and assurances from manager temp star to sign for Manchester City

 

Manchester City are once again one of the clubs linked with Isco by Marca. The Spanish newspaper have an article in their Thursday edition detailing the player’s situation and high chances of a move to the Premier League.

For a long time Isco has been frustrated with his role at Real Madrid, feeling he’s not getting the prominence that his talents deserve. The player’s recent good form has only underlined that, and with a contract ending in June 2018, a decision needs to be made soon on the player’s future.

Manchester City have been linked with Isco since Manuel Pellegrini moved to the club from Malaga. At one point it looked like isco was Manchester bound, but Real Madrid came in and it was too difficult for the Spaniard to say no.

Marca believe the lure of working for Pep Guardiola puts Manchester City in pole position to sign the player, and they feel assurances from several Premier League bosses, including Guardiola, have made Isco believe he’d be a key man in English football.

This one is going to continue weekly, and maybe daily, until the summer or until Isco signs a renewal at Real Madrid.
