Tottenham could get Barcelona defender Clement Lenglet for as little as €10m this summer if they decide to make a move for him.
That’s according to Sport, who cover a potential firesale of players at the Nou Camp, which Lenglet will be a part of.
Earlier this week, we covered a report that stated Tottenham are looking at a move for the French defender and had been in contact about a move.
Indeed, the idea had reportedly been given the okay by Spurs boss Antonio Conte, who is keen to improve his defensive options in the summer transfer window.
That followed a report that Tottenham could secure a bargain price for the defender, and Sport back that up today.
They state that Barcelona believe they will be ‘able to get money’ for Lenglet this summer as he is still young and, despite two irregular years, has always performed at a decent level for the club.
The ‘challenge’ for them is to get a figure of around €10m, which some may consider too high, given he’s only managed to start six games in La Liga this season.
It is not, though, a huge figure by any stretch of the imagination, and there could be interest at that price, particularly from the likes of Tottenham.
