As Udinese continue to be satisfied with the loan spell that Arsenal defender Pablo Mari is having at the club, they keep working on a plan to buy the player from the Gunners this summer.
Outlet Tutto Udinese on Sunday write about the situation, claiming that as the contacts continue, club owner Gino Pozzo is ‘ready to raise his offer’ and convince the Premier League side of a deal.
There’s still some confidence for a deal, with the report claiming there’s ‘room for an agreement’, while the clubs now continue to negotiate a fee.
Once the sides shake hands, then Udinese still must get to an understanding with Mari himself, as they can’t pay him the same salary he currently has in his contract with Arsenal.
Since joining the Italian side in January, Mari had 13 starts for the club already, and only missed one game due to suspension.
