NtvSpor report Fenerbahçe are showing an interest in Manchester United attacker Memphis Depay but will face competition from other clubs including Everton. The Dutchman has been linked with a January move to the Merseyside club in the past couple of weeks.
Ntvspor claim Fenerbahçe are heavily interested in Depay and the club are hoping the presence of Dick Advocaat will convince Depay to choose them over the likes of Everton and Wolfsburg, with French club Nice also linked.
NtvSpor say Everton manager Ronald Koeman is showing a strong interest for Depay after the injury to Yannick Bolasie.
Everton have also been linked with other wingers along with Depay, but Koeman knows the player well from his time as the Feyenoord coach and is likely to prefer his compatriot.
Wolfsburg have also been linked with Depay, but any possible deal depends on the sale of Julian Draxler.
Depay’s past experience playing under Advocaat proved to be a successful one after the 22-year old announced himself on the big stage whilst at PSV. Fenerbahçe will do everything in order to secure Depay’s loan, but with Everton offering him the chance to remain in the Premier League it will make it difficult for the Turkish club.
