Watford loanee Adalberto Peñaranda isn’t having a dream spell at Udinese, since the youngster has only played 157 minutes in five appearances for the Italian side this season.
La Liga wouldn’t be something new for Peñaranda. After signing for Watford from Udinese in January, the Venezuelan was loaned to Spanish side Granada, where he stayed until the end of the season.
Then Watford were convinced to send him back to Udinese, but as things aren’t going very well, it seems Spain was a better option after all.
Despite Sevilla’s interest, Estadio Deportivo contacted the player’s agency, who denied to have had any contacts with the Spanish side.
“At this point we have not considered the possibility of a transfer. We’ll wait until December to make the best possible decision alongside Watford.”
As Watford keep loaning Peñaranda from place to place, the attacker keeps getting minutes for the national team, which may help him to get a work permit to play for the Hornets.
The lack of an EU passport is also a concern for Sevilla, as the club don’t have any spots left for foreigners in the squad.
