Ligue 1 side Lille have accepted a few bids for defender Gabriel Magalhães, according to claims from the French media today.
Telefoot journalist Saber Desfarges says the club reached agreements with Arsenal, Everton and Napoli for the sale.
It’s claimed that at first, the Brazilian wanted to choose the offer from the Gunners, as he has a five-year contract waiting for him at the London side.
However, last night, Napoli raised the personal terms on the table, so the race for his signing continues.
The journalist writes that a final decision from the player is expected in the next 24 hours, as his word is the only thing missing for a deal. It isn’t said how much are Lille accepting from the clubs.
It seems we’re now getting towards the end of a long saga, since Gabriel Magalhães has been linked to several clubs this summer. Reports from France this week said Arsenal were his ‘priority’, with Lille expecting €30m from the sale.
