Real Betis striker will turn down any interest from Crystal Palace to stay at the Spanish club this summer.
That’s according to Grada 3, who report the striker will turn down the chance to move to the Premier League, with Southampton also thought to be suitors, to stay in Spain.
Crystal Palace are known to be on the hunt for a new forward this summer having managed just 26 goals in 29 league games this season, the second-lowest in the Premier League.
Southampton too, are in need of extra firepower having relied heavily on Danny Ings, who has 18 goals in 33 games in all competitions this season.
Morón could have been a low-cost option for both, with the Spanish striker managing 11 goals and three assists in 29 games thus far, as well as briefly topping La Liga’s goalscoring charts at the beginning of the campaign.
They will face frustration if they move for him, though, with Grada 3 saying the 26-year-old doesn’t want to leave Betis despite constant rumours putting him elsewhere.
It’s explained that it ‘doesn’t matter’ where the offer comes from, be it Crystal Palace, Napoli, Barcelona or Southampton, he isn’t interested.
The Premier League duo would be wise to look elsewhere in their attempts to find the goalscorers they need this summer then.
Who that may be remains to be seen, with funds likely to be limited as the Coronavirus outbreak hits finances hard around Europe.
