Here’s one more ending for Allan’s saga: Liverpool have accepted to sell him to Fluminense, according to further claims on Tuesday.
UOL says the Reds have already sent the documentation for the move, and the midfielder should sign a four-year deal with the Rio de Janeiro side.
Fluminense faced tough competition from Atletico Mineiro in the negotiations, but Allan’s wish to stay at the club was crucial for the deal.
The midfielder played for Flu on a loan spell during the 2019 season, and now hopes to keep his good form so he can be part of the Brazil squad which will play the Olympics this year.
It’s claimed that Atlético Mineiro offered Liverpool €3m for Allan, but Fluminense won the race by offering €3.75m, which will be paid in six instalments.
The Reds will still keep 10% of a future transfer.
Signed from Internacional back in 2015, Allan leaves Liverpool without a single appearance for the club.
Now the transfer just needs to be announced, which will likely happen this week, that is unless Atlético Mineiro try to steal the player at the death.
