Barcelona are working on an exit for defender Jean-Clair Todibo in January, which will be of interest to Watford.
A couple of weeks ago, we covered a report from Sport that stated Barça have several offers on the table for the 19-year-old and one of them was from Watford.
They are keen to add to their defence in January, and Todibo was one player that Quique Sánchez Flores and his side were looking at adding.
They may now be presented with an opportunity to get a deal done with Mundo Deportivo reporting that Barcelona are working on an exit for their young player.
Todibo has not impressed Ernesto Valverde, although he is still well regarded for the future and they would prefer to loan him out at this stage.
If that’s not possible, then they would also be open to a sale, although this would have to include a repurchase option, which is standard for Barcelona in deals involving their young players.
Nonetheless, Barcelona’s new willingness to do either type of deal should be of interest to Watford, who have a clear chance to get the player if they want him, although that may have changed following Sánchez Flores’s sacking.
