Fotospor report Manchester City’s Brazilian midfielder Douglas Luiz could join Fenerbahce on a loan deal this summer.
The Turkish side are likely to lose wonderkid Eljif Elmas in this transfer window and may look replace him by loaning Luiz.
Elmas has been linked with a move to the Premier League and Serie A.
Luiz spent last season on loan at Girona but after the Spanish side’s relegation from La Liga the 21 year old returned to Manchester City.
Fenerbahce are reportedly looking to loan Luiz with a right of redemption and the Super Lig side will open talks with City in the coming days.
Manchester City paid €12m Luiz in 2017 when he joined from Vasco da Gama. He is under contract at the Etihad until June 2022, and they may be reluctant to give Fenerbahce the possibility of signing him permanently after a loan.
