Turkish newspaper Sabah report Fenerbahce are looking to re-sign Vincent Janssen from Tottenham Hotspur on a loan deal, with a mandatory redemption clause.
Sabah say Besiktas completed a similar deal last summer when they signed Jeremain Lens from Sunderland, after initially loaning the Dutchman for six months.
It’s reported Fenerbahce and Tottenham are currently in talks with regards to Janssen and this kind of deal could work for both clubs.
Tottenham are said to be looking to offload the Dutch striker, with latest reports saying he’s training on his own in London, whilst Fenerbahce may want to loan him first due to FFP implications.
Fenerbahce manager Phillip Cocu has also stated, following their friendly game against Feyenoord, that the club are looking to bring in a forward and Sabah report the Turkish side want to solve this problem by signing Janssen.
According to Sabah, if an agreement can’t be reached before the transfer window in England closes, Fenerbahce are prepared to wait until the Turkish deadline on the 31st of August.
