Earlier this month, TuttoJuve reported Brentford’s Michael Kayode was attracting attention from Newcastle United, Tottenham and Manchester City.

Attention around the right-back is no surprise. He’s emerged as one of the best players in his position in the Premier League, playing 21 times so far.

Kayode has impressed with his athletic ability and throw-ins, becoming a reliable option to carry the ball forward too.

Three months ago, Kayode’s agent Claudio Vigorelli ruled out an exit from Brentford. He made it clear that if his kept improving, bigger opportunities could arrive for the Italian.

A more clear stance has now emerged from the 21-year-old’s entourage.

Giuseppe Pesce from Vigo Global spoke to Sportmediaset about Kayode’s future. He made it clear that an exit from Brentford is not being considered.

He said – relayed by FiorentinaNews: “Michael is very happy at Brentford and plays every game. We’re happy that he’s a key figure for the team.

“A return to Italy? We’re not considering that, on the contrary. We’ll see in the future, but the boy is very happy in the Premier League and in England.”

This should be big news for the Bees, who have seen Kayode become arguably their most important player.

Brentford player likely to move within PL eventually

He started slowly last January. That is when he was only on loan from Fiorentina, but after injury worries in the previous campaign, he’s made his mark.

Brentford deserve due credit for having signed him permanently despite his fitness problems. That isn’t something many other clubs would have done but Kayode’s talent shone through.

The London side are known to be a selling club, though. Even if the defender doesn’t leave in January or in the summer, he should leave at some point in the future.

Reading between the lines, his agents believe that move will be within the Premier League.
