Davinson Sánchez lost prominence at Tottenham Hotspur last season, managing to make only 24 appearances last season, out of which 18 were in the league and there were only eight starts.
The centre-back seems to be unhappy with his situation and is aiming to leave the north London club in the summer window.
That’s according to Colombian journalist Pipe Sierra, who took to Twitter to state the 27-year-old’s decision is ‘not to continue’ at Tottenham.
Despite struggling to enjoy regular game time at Spurs, the former Ajax man has managed to receive interest from the Premier League.
Sierra doesn’t provide details of the club[s] that are interested in the Spurs player but he stressed that extending a stay in England seems unlikely because the defender ‘would like to play’ in a new league. There’s no mention where he wants to move next.
🚨 La decisión de Dávinson Sánchez (27) es no seguir más en el #Tottenham. En el club también creen que lo mejor es que se vaya vendido, pues le queda un año de contrato ❌⚪️

Sánchez, for now, has decided not to continue with Ange Postecoglou’s side. His potential exit and Tottenham’s decision to not make Clément Lenglet’s loan stay permanent would force them to look for a new centre-back in this window.
