Galatasaray are in the market looking for a new midfielder after completing a deal for Kerem Demirbay on Thursday. Tottenham Hotspur’s Tanguy Ndombélé has been identified as one of the targets and this has been reported in Turkey over the past few weeks.
On August 1st, Doğruhaber stated the Istanbul club will present a new offer for the 26-year-old.
Fotomaç state this proposal has arrived at Tottenham after they receive encouragement from the midfielder.
The Frenchman has spent the last 18 months on loan at Lyon and Napoli. Even though he’s currently training under Ange Postecoglou’s orders, the report states the player wants to leave the north London club.
In fact, it’s claimed the Tottenham player is ‘looking forward’ to joining Galatasaray and this has seen them propose a deal to sign him on loan. The Turkish club are looking to pay €2m loan fee with an option to buy set at €6m.
The deal worth €8m seems to be poor for Tottenham but Fotomaç explain that the negotiations are ongoing between the two clubs. There’s even a belief the parties can agree a deal ‘any time’.
