Fulham have come forward to sign Torino’s Saša Lukić in the last week of the January window.
On Thursday, multiple reports coming out of Italy stated the Premier League side are set to make an offer to Torino for the midfielder.
It was also stated there is no clarity on what the Turin club plan to do, if Fulham were to make a proposal.
According to TuttoMercatoWeb, Marco Silva’s side have finally tabled an offer of €8m plus €2m bonuses for the player.
This is set to be accepted by Torino because TMW’s title states the 26-year-old’s move to Fulham is ‘close’. Within the report, it’s claimed the English club will be the midfielder’s next destination.
Silva’s side have also offered the Serbia international a contract until 2026 worth €2m net per year.
The Italian club are working to sign Hellas Verona’s Ivan Ilić and Lukić’s sale to Fulham will make room for his compatriot at Torino. This is also echoed by journalist Marco Conterio in his column for TMW.
“A young man who goes from Hellas to Turin as Ivan Ilić, also bankrolled by Saša Lukić, who will go to Fulham,” Conterio said.
