Three days ago, Bild reported Burnley’s Ameen Al-Dakhil is tempted to join VfB Stuttgart in the last week of the summer window.

Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to state that an ‘agreement has been found’ between the German club and Burnley for €9m. Therefore, this is a ‘done deal’.

In another post on X, the journalist claims Burnley will earn more than €9m from the 22-year-old’s sale to Stuttgart. He adds the two clubs still have to sort out some details, without specifying those details.

Tavolieri adds Scott Parker’s side have carried out a ‘good business’ by letting the centre-back move to Germany.

Burnley signed the defender from Belgian side Sint-Truidense VV for an undisclosed fee in January 2023.

The Belgium international has made 29 appearances in all competitions for Burnley, of which 17 were last season. The player was forced to spend time between February and June on the sidelines due to a muscle injury.

This hasn’t put off the Bundesliga side from investing over €9m to secure Al-Dakhil’s services.
