Quiet for the last week or so, the idea that Erick Pulgar could end up at Leeds United has found a new lease of life.
Thanks to La Nazione, the Chilean is still potentially on the move, as the newspaper look at his situation on Wednesday.
According to them, Pulgar has ‘at least three important options’ in front of him, with Leeds, Cagliar and Sassuolo all named.
However, the stumbling block comes from Fiorentina themselves, who ‘aren’t sure about letting him go for two reasons’.
Firstly, ‘none of the offers of redemption meet his value (€13m), and secondly, letting Pulgar go would mean Cesare Prandelli, the manager, needing a replacement on the transfer market.
With less than a week left in the window, time is getting short to get non-rushed deals over the line, so the reluctance is understandable.
