Former AS Roma CEO Lina Souloukou will have a role working alongside Ross Wilson and Miran Pavlin at Nottingham Forest.

That’s according to La Repubblica, via Siamo La Roma, who say Evangelos Marinakis is bringing her to Nottingham Forest to boost the team already in place.

The newspaper confirms reports from England, stating that Souloukou is set to undertake a ‘new professional challenge’ with Nottingham Forest in the Premier League.

Marinakis is looking to add her to the team at the club in a role that will see the former Olympiacos and Roma CEO ‘work closely’ with Ross Wilson, the current chief football officer at Nottingham Forest and Miran Pavlin, the personal advisor to Marinakis.

She is reportedly ‘ready to bring her management expertise’ to the Premier League side and her appointment is seen as a further step towards ‘increasingly ambitious and structured management’ at the club.

Il Messaggero, meanwhile, report that Souloukou is ‘ready to start again’ after her controversial exit from Roma earlier this year.

They say that ‘white smoke could arrive soon’ on her appointment at Nottingham Forest, with her appointment the latest of ‘bold moves’ being made by Marinakis to bolster his football empire.

She will act as a ‘special advisor’ at the club and work closely with Wilson and Pavlin in that role once her appointment has been confirmed.
