ESPN Brasil today shares a story on the future of the two Nottingham Forest midfielders who arrived from Palmeiras in January. Those are Gustavo Scarpa and Danilo.

As we all know, the two lived very different situations in their first months with the Reds.

Scarpa struggled with injuries and personal problems, and didn’t take part in the club’s last nine games. Danilo, meanwhile, managed to have a quick adaptation and stood out in the final part of the season.

That’s why each situation is taken differently. First speaking of Scarpa, ESPN claims Nottingham Forest will support him next season and expect a ‘full recovery’ from him. It’s said they ‘bet’ he’ll be ‘physically prepared’ for the ‘Premier League style’ and will be able to help the team.

As for Danilo, the news is also positive, but not great for those who want to see him succeeding with the club. It’s said that the Reds know they won’t keep the player for much longer, as he draws the interest from ‘several major European clubs’. The midfielder is expected to receive approaches from the January market onwards.

ESPN writes that his versatility, along with his age, makes him a wanted player. Nottingham Forest spent €20m to sign him from Palmeiras, and can probably already plan to make much more with his sale.
